- Surgical sites.
- Cleaning intravenous (IV) lines.
Infection Risk Identified:
- Some serious infections requiring hospital treatment.
- 1 death reported.
- A small number of cases still being detected.

59 confirmed cases of Burkholderia Stabilis linked to some non– sterile alcohol– free wipes.
Who Is At Higher Risk?
Risk to the general public is very low.
Higher risk groups include:
- Immunocompromised individuals, People with cystic fibrosis, Patients with intravenous (IV) lines at home.
- No person– to– person transmission identified.
